Why no hotel names

A named hotel deserves that hotel’s own photograph. We hold licensed destination photography, not property media, so we sell what the trade actually confirms at this stage — a star tier in a named area, on a stated board basis. The exact property is named on your voucher, before you pay the balance.

Board basis is the hidden number

Room-only looks cheapest until four people eat three meals a day for six days. In Bali and Thailand that is fine — food is cheap and good outside the hotel. In the Maldives and Switzerland it is not, and half board or all-inclusive usually wins on the total.

Area beats stars

A 4★ on the Skytrain line will serve you better than a 5★ forty minutes out in Bangkok traffic. The filter rail here puts area on the same footing as star rating for exactly that reason.
